BUSINESS MEETING

December 6, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm PST

Dec 6th Tues at noon will be our regular meeting at Artesian Cellars. This will be a business meeting. We will also have our Officer Elections and distribution of gift cards for Random Acts of Kindness. Paul Harris recipients and the CEO of  valley electric with a special presentation 

 

Our newest member, Mark Stallons the CEO of Valley Electric, presents a check for $6,000 to the Pahrump Valley Rotary Club board members and president. The VEA has an ongoing program to help organizations achieve a goal for the greater good. Rotary has many projects that assist the Pahrump community, such as, Acts Of Kindness, Wheelchair Ramps, Mini grants for school teachers, Together we read program, and many others. One such endeavor by Ed Williams, President of PVR, is to provide a shelter area for the elderly and handicap by constructing an area adjacent to the Nye County Coalition Activity center to provide shade in the summer heat and a solid pathway for walkers and wheelchairs while waiting to enter the building, along with making the area wheelchair accessible The Valley Electric donation will assist in all these endeavors.
