District Govenor Visit

The visit by the District Governor, Roger Gutierrez was held at the Pahrump China Woke at 11:15Am on November 1. 2022. Lunch was paid for by the Pahrump Valley Rotary Club. District Governor Roger gave an inspirational speech followed by the presentation of Paul Harris awards and the presentation of the first club champion award.
The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is one of the highest honors Rotary can bestow upon a person. Recipients are Rotarians and community professionals, in recognition of their outstanding contributions, exemplifying the highest ideal in Rotary in placing “SERVICE ABOVE SELF.” a Paul Harris Fellowship, named for Paul Harris, who founded Rotary with three business associates in 1905.. The Fellowship was established in his honor in 1957 to express appreciation for contributions to the humanitarian and educational programs of The Rotary Foundation.
