Rotary donating school supplies for the high school

Assisting Nye County School District with collecting books for students and Schools. Rotary provide hot dogs and water for residents who brought donated books.

 Rotarians were successful in delivering books, pencils and crayons to the Mt Charleston elementary school for the kids to develop and participate in the Together We Read Program. The books were donations from the community and collected throughout the year. The reward presentation for two children and parents to receive $100 checks for participating in projects for the program along with their teachers who promoted together we read.

Rotary donates funds to keep Pahrump Community Pool open.

First place winner in the Dan Stove Music contest

The Pahrump Valley Rotary Club is sponsored a constitution project at the ROSEMARY CLARKE MIDDLE SCHOOL to learn about the United States Constitution have awarded the winning students and their teachers a $100 gift card 

Rotary participates in the Easter Egg Hunt at Simkins Park with food and water.

Pahrump Valley Rotary Club donated $4,000 and raised matching funds from the community of $2,879 for a total donation to the NYecc of $6,879

A total of 12 ramps costing 1000 each was built by the Pahrump Valley Rotary Club for needy Pahrump citizens.

Act of Kindness Program

We had a small but mighty group help out with the ramp build this past weekend. Thanks go out to Bill, Dave, Cecilia, George, Linda, Jeffrey, Dee, & Barbara. We split up and built the ramp pictured and an additional ramp, a few blocks away, got a new deck and paint. The first house also got some yard cleanup. This was two veterans that were both very appreciative.

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.  Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. This years award to the participating students a Levitating Globe.
